Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834-92) was England's best-known
preacher for most of the second half of the nineteenth century. In 1854,
just four years after his conversion, Spurgeon, then only 20, became pastor
of London's famed New Park Street Church (formerly pastored by the famous
Baptist theologian John Gill). The congregation quickly outgrew their building,
moved to Exeter Hall, then to Surrey Music Hall. In these venues Spurgeon
frequently preached to audiences numbering more than 10,000—all in the
days before electronic amplification. In 1861 the congregation moved permanently
to the newly constructed Metropolitan Tabernacle.

Charles H. Spurgeon
CD Collection 2.0
Check out the Charles H. Spurgeon
CD Collection 2.0 from Ages Software, Inc. This is what they have to
say about it:
Our best-selling author collection just got better! Complete with all of the writings contained in "THE CHARLES SPURGEON COLLECTION Version 1", Version 2 of this mammoth collection now incudes "The Treasury of David". Originally a 6 volume set, this work remains as one of history's greatest expositions on the book of Psalms. With a most thorough approach, Spurgeon dissects every verse of every Psalm. Besides Spurgeon's sermons, "The Treasury of the David" remains probably the most important and appreciated work compiled by this great Christian author. Also included in electronic format for the first time on Version 2, is the "Exposition Index" which lists and links all of the many expositions that were used to close Spurgeon's sermons. Like version 1.0, version 2.0 contains the entire 63 Volumes of the Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit, and over 70 of Spurgeon's book, writings and other publications. Enjoy and learn from Sermons on Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21. This set is brought to you for only... Order today for just $59.95. C.H.Spurgeon
